VMware Academic Graduate Fellowships

VMware Academic Graduate Fellowships

The VMware Academic Program is proud to sponsor the VMware Graduate Fellowship Program.  These fellowships are awarded to outstanding students pursuing research related to VMware’s business interests.

The fellowship includes a cash award to cover tuition and a stipend for 12 months.  In addition to core machine virtualization and its applications, we are broadly interested in work related to cloud computing, including massive scale compute, storage, network, management, analytics, and application platforms. We believe that experience in industry is an integral part of a CS PhD student’s education, and that internships are the best way for students to build relationships with engineering groups at VMware. Hence we expect that fellowship recipients will take advantage of VMware’s internship program during the summer preceding the 2015-2016 academic year.

Good afternoon. We have sent the nomination of one of our students yesterday but have not received an acknowledgment of receipt. I would just like to know if this is ok. Best regards, Dimitra.

Can I get complete information on “VMware Academic Graduate Fellowships” as I have seen the slides in VMware’s 2013 Academic Research Symposium.

We award fellowships at the beginning of the new year and start the solicitations in the fall. Nominations are submitted by faculty.
